Great time and the beach is still beautiful - no problems. We got great family pictures too on the beach! We are coming back!

Guest Review of Hidden Dunes 7/16/10
Beaches still great! We have been going to Hidden Dunes for years. The view of the beach was amazing.I thought because of the oil spill there would be damage, but everything still looked how I remembered. I would definitely recommend staying here, and look forward to trips back.

Mr. Kemp let our staff know how much he was enjoying his stay, stating that “The beaches are beautiful and open for business in Navarre.” We’re glad you enjoyed your stay, Mr. Kemp, thank you for choosing ResortQuest Northwest Florida!

Thanks, guys, for the great photos and videos. We are still planning to get to Ft. Walton Beach July 7--crossing our fingers that things don't get worse. You are doing a great job getting the message out about how the water changes daily, and how good the conditions are most of the time. It breaks my heart that you even have to do that. ResortQuest (and before that, Abbott Realty) have been there for me for about 20 years, so I'm doing everything I can to convince my family and our friends to keep the faith, wait and see, and make the best of this year's beach vacation.

We're meeting my wife's family here, they're from Louisiana, we're all the way from south Florida. We were hesitant to come but we saw you on the YouTube videos and said, OK well, I don't see black tar on the beach so we'll give it a try and it's been pretty clear since then. We're having a great time so far! Come down, it's clear, it's clean, everybody's out in the water swimming today, looks good!

We have always used Resortquest. Although I have read some not so stellar reviews on this forum about them I have personally never had a problem with them, they have always been easy to deal with so I figure if it isn't broke don't fix it. We are scheduled to arrive next Friday the 11th, I have contacted them 3 different times with my concerns and they will allow us to change dates or change locations with no penalty or if we should want to cancel they will refund our money (less a nominal fee of approx. $30) and this is all good up until the day we check in. Also if there are any beach closures they will refund all of our money or prorate it if we have been there a couple days and the beach closures occur while we are there.

I will try to go with Resortquest in the future. It's good to know some companies have a conscience.

ResortQuest will definitely have our business in the future, thanks for all the info. In fact, I am going to contact them this week and tell them how, through their devotion to customer service, they have picked up a new client. I feel like brightening their day, with all the frantic calls they are taking, they deserve to know their fairness is going to ultimately bring them more dollars.

I have been impressed with the level of activity and communication from RQ regarding the oil spill. I think it shows RQ’s strength and commitment to owners and business in NW Florida.

Friend 1 - "The only reason we came down here was because of your pictures".
Friend 2 - "We were very hesitant about coming here until we found out about the pictures put on the website everyday, we were worried about our trip, especially since this is my very first trip to the beach"
Friend 3 - "I have been coming here to this area for 14 years, with ResortQuest for 12. I called reservations every day and checked the pictures every morning at 5:30 when I got off shift; they eased my concerns a lot!"

Dear Dawn (JTV): My mother in law is an avid fan of yours.  Today we went to lunch and she told me that you mentioned you and your friends would not be able to take your annual trip to Destin.  I just wanted to email you to tell you that the beaches here are still as amazing as ever.  I am attaching a website that will show you current webcams of the beautiful beaches we have here.  Our area is struggling to get the word out that we are not seeing effects of the oil spill on our beaches as of yet.  I understand with all of the national media coverage how that could be assumed but now is a perfect time to visit the white sandy beaches of the Florida Gulf Coast. We want our visitors to come here and have a great time.  http://www.resortquestnwfl.com/beach-photos.htm

...we tried Destin in 2009 and fell in love with SunDestin Resort (Resortquest). I am not solicting for Resortquest but I got the same email that "Frozen Tundra" posted and it was a relief. I had struggles of deciding what to do but our family really, really wanted to go back to SunDestin. Every ResortQuest employee I've talked to about oil policies has been very nice except one (a girl that was short and snappy), but I do have to compliment and send my highest regard to a guy named CODY from Resortquest that was very courteous and understanding of the concern. He deserves a Kudo for his effort to help. We are on our way in three days and I can't wait. My DIL has never been to FL at 24 years old...I want it to be a great experience for her! At least we can come with peace of mind now instead of feeling we are hostage if the oil does reach the beaches. We pray it doesn't.

That is good of you people to do this! I have been a repeat customer for over ten years and have always been satisfied with the accommodations and service. Thanks,

Great job keeping us informed - keep up the good work.

Via email 5/11/10
Thanks for being proactive about the oil spill and keeping us posted on the condition.

Via TripAdvisor 5/10/10:
BRAVO ResortQuest... That is the policy every company and owner in the area should adopt.... BRAVO! I hope they stay booked solid for years to come. They sound like a company with right priorities and attitude towards guests.

Via TripAdvisor 5/10/10:
I'm looking forward to white beaches, blue water and sunshine in the refuge of Destin in three more days! We're only staying for three nights and want to make the most of it. By the way, a shoutout to RESORTQUEST who has altered their cancellation policy and will allow refunds if the beaches close minus a nominal fee. Destin, here we come!

Via TripAdvisor 5/10/10:
I received the email from ResortQuest, what a relief to know that this company is offering this refund policy. We are staying at Silver Shells the week of June 12th. Hoping for the best since the airline tickets have been purchased long ago.

Via TripAdvisor 5/10/10:
We have also been very impressed with RESORTQUEST and how they've handled this situation. Initially they told us we could move further out to Panama City Beach but we've decide to stick with what we've got in the Fort Walton/Destin area. I'm glad to hear that they've jumped on board with willingness to refund or reschedule. Hopefully it will not be necessary as it will impact Resortquest as well with many cancellations and refunds. Hope everyone has an awesome trip and they get this thing under control soon!!

Via email 5/7/10:
Your company has great customer service which is why we continue to use your for our family vacation condo rentals. Let's hope and pray the oil slick misses Florida.

Via email 5/7/10:
Thank you so much!  You have renewed my faith in good "customer service".  If we have to cancel we will definitely just move our reservations to another site.

Via email 5/7/10:
I just want to Thank You all at ResortQuest!!!  I have used you all periodically over the past 15 years and have never had a complaint.  Today, I am simply amazed and must send kudos to you all for your extraordinary customer service! The Oil Spill has concerned my friends and I as we have planned an exciting all girls weekend to PCB. Now that you have sent us the email with the live pictures of the beach and even gone as far as videoing current vacationers with their opinions of the beach status...WOW!  I love that!  It really allows us as incoming vacationers to have peace of mind about the status and how ResortQuest will accommodate us in the unlikely event the beaches get closed. With Gratitude for exceptional Service,
