! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT IN ALL ASPECTS!! We stayed there for 3 nights and simply did not want to go home. It has everything you could want- no need to go anywhere for anything! I went shopping one day and never had to leave again. Yes, this place is a little pricey but look at what you get. We changed our reservations from the Ramada Plaza Beach Resort to Waterscape. For years I stayed at the Ramada for vacation but thought this would be worth a try. I'M SO GLAD I DID AND WILL NEVER STAY ANYWHERE ELSE!! When you consider going out to eat every day on vacation it gets very expensive. We went out a few times but had NO REASON to go anywhere else. Due to the ages of our girls, we couldn't consider something like Big Kahuna's so we stayed where we were. Oh, and we didn't know there was another pool until the following day- on the next level, duh!! Look at the pictures, the web site, the write-ups, and how much you will save in not going out for every meal. It is now our home away from home and will always be. I kinda' hate that we took so many pictures- I'm wanting to go back right away but have to wait until next year's vacation!!!!!

"I can't say enough about the Sundestin.  My kids love it, its convenient to everything.  The Big Kahuna is right there, we just walk right over and pop in to the pizza place in the lobby for pizza on our way back to the room.  There are movies on site to rent, which we love after a full day of swimming and laying on the beach.  We also enjoy the convenience store onsite which is well stocked and gives us easy access to whatever we need without leaving the grounds.  The Sundestin is close to all the shopping, dining, and entertainment you could want.  It is only a few blocks from the movies and my favorite - The Donut Hole.  With all of these things so close and only minutes away from the Sundestin, you don't spend your entire vacation in the car.  But, I think our favorite thing of all is the relaxing atmosphere, the friendly staff who are ALWAYS at the front desk eager to help, and the beautiful beach ! with its emerald green waters that you never want to leave.  We always come back - its like a second home."

I was in Destin with 9 other ladies for a bachelorette party over Labor Day weekend. We stayed in Unit 1107 in the Beach Manor building. This was a 3 bedroom 3 bath unit with a fold out couch that could sleep 8. Due to different schedules, all 8 of us were not there the whole time, so there was only 1 night that all 8 of us spent the night. The unit was very roomy - even with 6 - 8 women - it never felt like we were crammed in the unit. The bathrooms all had large double vanities, so everyone had plenty of room. This was a corner unit with an L shaped balcony with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. The master bedroom had a separate balcony with a jacuzzi, but we never used it.

If you've ever been to Destin, you know the beach and ocean there is great. White sand and clear blue water as usual. The location is great, because the resort is the last one on the "hotel strip", so the beach to the east is all private property. If you are looking for the party, you can always head west towards the other resorts, but on our end it was a little quieter.

This building has 2 pools. One that has a bar and snack bar and one that does not. As you can guess, the pool with the bar and snack bar was used much more than the other one. In fact, during the whole weekend, I only saw 4 or 5 people at the other pool. At the "bar" pool, there was plenty of room and chairs. The frozen drinks at the bar were really yummy. Not too strong, but really sweet. Had a sandwich at the snack bar which was good. The resort area does not take cash, so you are issued a card that you can charge things to (drinks, food, beach chairs). This was handy in that you didn't have to carry cash.

The maintenance department was great. We called about a stopped up shower drain and the repair person was there in less than 10 minutes to fix it.

The resort is right next to/across from SandDestin, so there are lots of good restaurants very near. Also, the outlet mall is nearly across the street too, so lots of shopping available.

"Went to Tops'l with a group of 12 ladies on a tennis package. Spent a week (Feb 17-24). Had a great time. Joe D'Aleo modified a standard package to suit our needs and constantly checked to make sure our week was going well and accomodating us not only with great tennis activities, but great restaurant suggestions. Joe's and his team of tennis pros are excellent. This is my 9th or 10th time to visit Tops'l on a tennis package and it will not be my last. It just keeps getting better and better....

I would like to tell you about customer service at its finest. When my wife booked our room this year and they said we could have the room next to where we stayed last she agreed. When we arrived we found our room located on the 1st floor of the B building. Although our room was nice, the view was not what we expected from out previous visits. It turned out that the computer showed us staying in the B building on the 1st floor last year when we had actually stayed on the 4th floor of the A building for the past few years.

When I got in touch with the office located on-site I spoke with Ms. Theresa Hamilton. After she found out what happened and after reviewing all of her options (before the day was over) she had relocated us to another fine room with a great view located on the 4th floor of the B building where we're enjoying our stay thanks to her.

With employees like Ms. Hamilton working for the Dunes of Seagrove you can expect our family and other families I ’m sure to continue to return year after year for a great vacationing experience.

I am writing to inform you what a conscientious and supportive staff member you have in “Judy” at the front desk rental office at High Pointe Resort. After eight years of being a summer rental family, Judy was so nice to help us resolve what could have been a negative situation. I always book our summer vacation (1) year in advance so that we can reserve a gulf-front PLATINUM unit for our stay. This year when calling one week prior to check on our reservations, I was told we were downgraded to a GOLD unit, but paying the same price. After making (6) phone calls to High Pointe’s rental office, finally “Judy” was helpful, accommodating and pleasant too in resolving this issue. I felt it was important to you, Mr. James, as her supervisor know what a valuable employee you have in “Judy”."
